Meet the girl who inspired it all...
Meet June, she is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte that I have had since 2018! She is an excellent mother and has hatched many clutches of chicks on our farm. She is still here today enjoying being the old grumpy lady of the flock keeping everyone in line. Eventho she is aging and her colors are changing she is still our roo's favorite gal as well as mine!

Meet the main chick
Hi guys I'm Nicole! I am the gal with the big dreams for our family farm and in turn cause my husband a lot of headaches and work. I grew up here in Steinhatchee and blame my dad for introducing me to chickens as a kid. One chicken I will never own is a Rhode Island Red. When I was a kid I was chased and attached by one of the roosters and because of that experience you won't see one in my flock. My favorite chicken is the Blue Laced Red Wyandotte because they are absolutely beautiful and very mellow tempered. I enjoy educating people on raising chickens especially newbies!
Meet the carpenter
Meet Gerald he is the builder of all of mammas dream projects! You can literally show him a picture or describe what you have in mind and he can bring it to life. When you stop by for a visit you will probably find him playing in his garden or working on a project on the farm. He is also the owner of our other business here in Steinhatchee, "Husband for Hire". So if you local he can help with your projects as well. When he has time to spend away from work he enjoys hunting, fishing and cooking. He does not have a favorite chicken but loves raising and playing with our Turkeys!
Meet the chicken tender
This little cutie is George! He is our youngest and most involved in the chicken business. He loves snuggling and playing with the chickens. You can catch him in the coop or the garden half the time bare footed. He is always so excited to show his buddies or customers the chicks. You can say he gets just as, if not more excited than his momma when we have new babies on the farm. He's getting pretty good at naming the different breeds and a dang good chicken catcher! When he has down time he loves playing video games, fishing & hunting.
